Emma Mooney is a Music Supervisor and up-and-coming Film Composer based in Manchester.
She graduated from the University of Surrey in 2016 with a Masters in Music Composition. She has composed original scores to many low and kickstarter-funded British short films with credits found on the British Council Film and IMDb. Her musical style has been tested and explored, and ranges from classical through to dance; and her work can be described as delicate yet exciting and evocative of emotion and narrative.
She also plays the Violin which she started learning at the tender age of 4 and has since performed with a variety of London and the UK's best amateur orchestras including the Bromley Youth Symphony and Chamber Orchestra’s, the South East London Orchestra, the Central London Orchestra, the Basement Orchestra and the Amadeus Orchestra
